Hello internet friends. The midnight toils of Late Night Work Club are slowly winding down, and Project #1 is nearly finished. Months of work, thousands of hours, enough caffeine (among other things) to kill a dozen large animals dead and some of the raddest animators making the raddest stuff. It wouldn’t be a true indie project if we weren’t running a few weeks behind, so stay tuned for more info in the very near future for release dates, possible screenings in your local megacity, and purchase info for those of you so inclined to support what we are doing. In the meantime, we offer you these gifs to snack on.
We thank you for your enthusiasm, and please take this time to prepare your minds for GHOST STORIES.
We’ll be in touch. Until then, stay tuned here for more cool stuff and hit us up on twitter.
These guys came up at an animation conference I’ve been at in Melbourne for the last two days, serving only to remind me how excited I am about how this project is probably almost ready. This is going to be the business. The cats pyjamas. The fucking battleaxe of the mummy king.
Charles Huettner is so damn fly at making pictures and making pictures move that if he lived near me I’d be all up in his face minding his pets when he was away and bringing him take-out. I’d be all like “oh man they accidentally gave me an extra pad thai, I don’t suppose you’re hungry?”. Nothing creepy or whatever. That’s just how animators show respect.
